Event Titles
Certain players will have titles from prior shard-wide events.

  • Bunnychaser
  • Home Decorator
  • Fowl Play

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where players would see a naked player character when someone died, instead of seeing nothing at all.
  • NPC Pirate ship planks can be double-clicked to board if they are within 4 tiles.
  • Fixed a bug where exceptional crafted smithy hammers had lower uses remaining than it should. They will have 250 now when exceptionally crafted.

Damage Mechanics

  • Reduced max damage on Fireball (17), Lighting(24), Explosion (39 from 42), EB (40, from 42). Our values were set for late UOR initially. We adjusted them closer to T2A-UOR timeframe.
  • Capped damage bonus in PvP from anatomy and lumberjacking to 20%, instead of 30%. Grandmaster in these skills still provide a 30% bonus in PVM. Similar to the line item above, this has to do with changes made as UOR transitioned to Pub16 and AOS.
  • Fixed a bug with AR damage calculation. Players should notice about a 15% improvement to damage reduction while wearing armor as a result
  • Wrestling speed has been set to 50 to match t2a era speed.
  • Warmode-toggle adjustment will not trigger an unnecessary delay.

Treasure Hunting and Tinkering Changes

  • Level 1 treasure maps can be completed with 0 cartography skill. Level 2 treasure maps only require 35 skill (down from 50). Level 3 and up remain untouched.
  • Player tinkers can create trapped containers and not be eligible for the murder (if someone opens it) if the container was on the ground when trapped and not locked down (e.g. house containers, dungeon chests, NPC pirate chests, merchant rowboat chests, etc).

NPCs

  • Boss monsters will not walk into houses or on to ship planks.
  • Forest ostards from Savages will be aggressive. This will be the standard approach to future NPCs that ride mounts.
  • Doubloon Merchant has new rewards for the original dungeons and a preview of the upcoming lost lands rewards.

Items

  • The interior design tool will let you send items higher than the standard 20Z increase per floor. This allows you to do a little bit more on your steps and rooftop homes. This change makes it possible to send an item to a floor above your character, and then you cannot bring it back down with the tool. You will have to manually retrieve it from the floor above.
  • Runic atlas has a new “Sort Runes” button to toggle the sort arrows.
  • Hunter’s Mark has new items in a handful of Britannia dungeons. Each dungeon has 9 reward options now. You can see previews of the new items for the lost land dungeons at the doubloon vendor.

Patch 36 File Updates

If you use the Tides of Power launcher, open it and click VERIFY at the topit should ask you to update 4 of your files, which gives you access to the updated map. If you are having any problems, you can also try to manual patch approach.
