Lost Lands Client & Map Update
August 2026 Update
We are releasing the first major map update and expansion on Tides of Power later this week. It is important to read this page so you understand what you may have to do.
Using the Official Tides of Power launcher?
If you’re using the official Tides of Power launcher (see below), click VERIFY near the top and it will ask you to apply a patch. Click apply and then you’ll be able to play as normal after it patches.
Using ClassicUO Launcher?
You have to manually patch if you are using ClassicUO or another third-party tool to launch the Tides of Power game client.
You cannot skip this step! If you do, you may find yourself walking into invisible walls, falling through the ground, or other client-side errors due to changes.
Manual patching is typically less than 2 minutes of work.

How to to manually patch:
- Download and unzip the map file.
- Log out of all Tides of Power UO clients.
- Take the files from the zip file folder and copy-paste or drag & drop them into your Tides of Power UO client folder. It will ask if you want to overwrite the files. Say yes.
- When the files finish moving, load up the game and log into your account.
- Visit Britain Bank and if you see the updated bank plaza, then your update was successful!
Changes to Britannia & Map Files
With the upcoming lost lands map update, changes are coming to Britannia. Here is a short summary of what you can expect with the map update we’re releasing with patch 36.
- Britain Castle west door way grants quicker access to the bank and doubloon exchange.
- The doubloon exchange has taken over both rooms in the southern downstairs chamber.
- Southern bridge out of the castle looping around to West Britain bank.
- The West bank has a staircase leading to the roof with benchtop seating. Across the way, an entrance to the Cat’s Lair tavern (quick log out) via their new patio and stable.
- The row-houses south of Britain bank have a barbershop.
- East Guard homestead has an incremental upgrade in camp appearance.
- Pirate’s Gate western land expansion.
- Desolation dock check-point upgrade.
- Updated future-Faction base modifications including secondary entrance/exit points for Skara and Yew.
- A new tournament island, with rentable space for player PvP events.
- 3 new small islands in the main ocean
- The Tidal Castle entrance to the lost lands
- A new Carpenter & Bowshop in Wind (they will no longer be in the Park.)
- Support for Deceit 5 & 6.
- Support for Wrong 4.
- Support for Covetous Caverns.
- Support for all of Lost Lands.
ClassicUO Client Changes
These are not custom ToP changes, these are from the official ClassicUO client.
- Player paperdoll has slots for more equipment
- General tab, Fast Rotation
- General tab, Misc: Always show name, HP bar
- Video Tab, Screen zoom … way bigger!
- Counters easier to add/remove
- Speech, log file adjustment, serials
When does Lost Lands open?
Lost Lands will be released after Patch 36, during Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 of Courageous Exploration.
