This past week we published Patch 18, fixing a few bugs and preparing for new features planned for the weeks ahead. We’ve started testing Capture the Flag and announce games in Discord using the Discord Events feature. Learn more about our CTF mini-game.
Players have been patiently waiting to learn which items and server births have been released. We’ve shared a few small teasers along the way, but promised we’d hold off until the shard had been live for three months before giving out the more details. Well, the wait is over! NPCs
- Vendors will no longer sell or buy when too far from their store. They will return automatically should anyone try. This goes for animal trainers and stabling as well.
- Bonded pets will not go wild.
PVP / Player Interactions
- Attacking a pet that is being tamed will no longer cause aggro/notoriety issues.
- Creatures who are attacked in town will not get guard whacked.
- Targeted peacemaking and discordance now count as harmful actions. Wide area peacemaking does not. No effects/powers were changed
Misc
- Using the
Make MaxorMake Numberbuttons when crafting utilize the special GM delay (one second) - New SOSes will no longer lead you to the Water Walk.
- Crafting tools: Using the Make Max or Make Number buttons when crafting utilize the special GM delay (one second).
- Doors can now be opened and closed from the same tiles.
- The protection spell can now be toggled off by casting it again.
- After turning it off, the two minute “defensive spell” cooldown will start (magic reflect, reactive armor, another protection spell).
- Fixed the animal lore gump when a pet was stabled. It now shows loyalty.
- BOD books will retain their names after reboot (they will need to be renamed one more time – sorry!).
- When receiving a BOD, there is a greater chance of it requiring colored ore items. Additionally, BODs that require non-standard materials (special leathers, colored ingots) are worth more points.
