Hunter’s Mark: Backstory
With the recent wave of orc attacks and overflowing dungeon populations, a general call to arms has been issued to protect what remains of Britannia.
In the report, a dungeon will be tagged with a Hunter’s Mark and those who hunt in the dungeon will have the opportunity for dungeon-specific rewards, only available during the week that the dungeon is marked.
PVM Hunting Incentives
Location Specific Drops
- Special Dyes – Each dungeon has specific colors associated with it.
- Dyes are specific to item type: clothing, furniture, runebook, leather.
- Dyes spawn with multiple charges (randomized).
- Dye hues have a scaling rarity (30%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%).
- Dyes require a new dye tub item type (special dye tub, furniture dye tub, runebook dye tub, or leather dye tub) in order to store and use your dye charges. Each time you use the dye tub, it consumes whichever dye color charge is currently active.
- The new dye tubs will be available in the Crafter’s Boon expansion.
- Dungeon Rares – Each dungeon has a set of rare items specifically themed to the dungeon that may spawn when a monster dies or when a locked chest spawns.
- Dungeon Cloth – Each dungeon has two rare cloth drops that drop in single-yard piles.
Monster Frenzy
When a dungeon has been marked, the monster spawn rate is increased by 33% and there is an opportunity to find rare monsters.
Enhanced Training
You will gain skills 33% quicker while training them in the marked dungeon.
When does Hunter’s Mark release?
