As we approach our one year since launch, we’d like to pay a toast to all those who have helped us with reconstruction. The city of Britain will be hosting multiple events throughout the week and weekend at Settler’s Hall on the east side of the river.
Events start May 17th, 2026 and will run through the end of the month.
The Bizarre Swap Meet
Date: TBA… announced in Discord and with a town crier.
This will take place at Settler’s Hall in East Britain.
Fill your bank with your wildest items from a year of Tides and join us for this swap meet event. Trade-booths will be setup for the event along with a banker and stablemaster. Nino’s will be sending his finest dealer up and offering poker with no table fees.
During the event, Batsby the Mongbat will be in attendance along with his bodyguard Stonesby. They will both have limited time offerings for you during the two week event.

The Old World Auction
Crews have worked extensively to recover artifacts from the old world. In the effort to raise capital for the next expansion project (a sink made of gold!), they are auctioning them off to the highest bidder.
These are unique items and a once in a lifetime offering…never be seen again! If you don’t purchase them, some other wild (NPC) Noble will. Here’s your chance to own a piece of history.

**Note about the telescope: Winning bidder may choose its permanent placement with approval from the city planner (staff discretion with placement). Simply put, purchasing this should be done with intent to enrich, not troll or block critical areas.
How will bidding work?
In order to bid on a lot, you must hand over (to a GM) the gold for the duration of the auction. Gold will be returned to everyone who did not win the auction at the end of this event. If you want to drop out of the auction (as long as you are not the highest bidder), send a DM to Boomland Jenkins to reclaim your bid.
Celebrating Housing Decor
An event where players will showcase their home decoration skills. The winner will receive their choice of a unique Halloween or Christmas decoration item and the title of the Spring 2026 Home Deco contest.
Players will register ahead of the event. We’ll have a post in Discord for this.
Voting spans 7 days, players should keep their decoration in place the whole week. Minor changes are OK for functionality, but items should not be used for your entry, and then passed along to someone else for their entry.
How will voting work?
We will have an in-game voting board with each contestant. Each account can vote once. Multiple factors are taken into account when determining eligibility for voting.
