You are invited to the Northwest Pole. This event starts on December 14th.
The Northwest Pole is located in the northern seas of the lost lands. With a little Christmas magic, this part of the lost lands is still accessible, but only for a limited time! Visit any major bank and you’ll find the frosted moongate, waiting to take you to this magical land.
You cannot mark or gate while it, but you can recall to Britannia from it.
Activities at the Northwest Pole
- Visit Santa 6 different days between December 14th and December 25th for a gift each day. After the 6th gift, Santa won’t have anymore gifts for you.
- Visit Byron the Toy Maker for and say “Toys” to trade-in toy parts. Say “Redeem” to see your toy points and the available items for purchase.
- Use the Christmas Claw Machine (looks like a tall soldier) for a chance to win prizes.
- Bring your chefs and best ingredients! You can make hot chocolate and chocolate nutcrackers during the holiday season.
Keep reading for details on the activities above.

Visit Santa for Gifts
Santa will give you a gift each day you visit him, for up to 6 total visits. You can do this on both of your accounts. Double-click Santa to claim your gift. We’ll reveal what all 6 items were, after Christmas!

Enjoy a Limited Time, Hot Chocolate
Gather round the Workshop yard and use the steam powered water heater to make hot chocolate. Don’t forget your favorite cooking tool!

Help Santa’s Master Toy Maker
The gate leads to Santa’s castle workshop, where the elves are in a panic. A rogue elf has unleashed dark magic at the Northwest Pole, putting this year’s holiday at risk.
Misfit toys, enchanted evil trees, and knife-wielding minions now stalk the woods. With toy supplies running low, the elves need help gathering the materials required to save the holiday.
You’ll find Byron the Toy Maker near the forge at Santa’s Workshop. Gather and bring toy parts to him and earn toy points.
- Say “Toys” to get his attention and trade in your toy parts.
- Say “Redeem” to view or redeem your toy points.
The event-currency toy parts will be deleted at the end of the event. You can purchase a special toy part from the Toy Maker if you want a non-decaying toy part.

Collecting Toy Parts
While in the Northwest Pole, you can find toy parts on monster, in lockpicking containers, while chopping wood, or mining ore. In Britannia, you can find toy parts on the Rabid Reindeer.
