This page is intended to share features that are in development or planned for Tides of Power.

We introduced Poker earlier in the year and we’re in our final stage of testing for Capture the Flag and Secret Agent.

We have plans to add Bag Ball, Dungeon RUN, and a PvP tournament system after the initial games go out.

How it Works

Order and Chaos players can capture guard posts (there are 5 virtue guard posts). Killing NPC virtue guards or other virtue players while near a guard post will give you a virtue point per kill. Capturing a post gives you 10 points.

Players can unlock Earned Titles with these points as well as spend them for special reward items.

Capturing Posts

When you arrive at a guard post, you must kill any opposing virtue guards before you can capture the post. When you start fighting opposing guards, a broadcast goes out, notifying other virtue players of the activity.

When all guards are dead, you can stand on the colored altar to begin capturing the guard post. It takes 60 seconds to capture the post. You’ll see a count-up over your head when it starts.

Captured Posts

When a post is captured, all players who participated in the capture will earn points and have their names announced in a global broadcast. New Virtue Guards will then spawn, matching the Virtue that captured the post.

Spending Points

Players can earn titles from reaching certain Lifetime Points values. That means you can freely spend your virtue points without missing out on Titles that come from this activity.

Rewards can be seen on the Virtue Vendor, (soon to be) located in Britain’s castle or at Skara Brae.

Players will be able to craft new items by pairing traditional craft skills with under utilized skills.

Players will eventually be able to grow potted plants, trees, and reagents at home. Use plant ingredients to create wax leaves for sealing player written books, special alchemy and cooking ingredients.

We’re looking into new “bulk order deeds” for additional professions.

  • Taming: Hunting and gathering missions for tamers, with a similar structure to bulk order deeds.
  • Fishing: Certain fishing items will be introduced or repurposed to allow fishermen a way of doing bulk order deeds.

Implemented Roadmap Items

The first map expansion will allow players to access to the lost land dungeons, towns, and POIs. You can expect surprises while exploring the lands. Here is a sneak peek of the lost lands.

This expansion will bring new Kin items and options for roleplaying groups to occupy of certain landmarks or buildings.

Allow players to “short term rent” various public spaces in-game for events. Host an auction, a banquet, town hall, wedding and control the space like it’s your own house.

Sailors will encounter more NPCs on the ocean, fish up relics while sailing above former cities, and explore debris islands. This expansion went live with Patch 35.

The first boss became available for re-spawn during Chapter 3 of Courageous Exploration. Learn more about Boss Encounters on Tides of Power.

Hunting in the active location will provide incentives like higher density spawns, dungeon or POI-specific rare drops, and limited-use leather dyes (leather dye tub hues). Learn more.

Bulk order deeds have been expanded to alchemy, bowcraft, carpentry, cooking, inscription, and tinkering. Learn more.
