Chapter 3 took adventurers from Rat’s Hollow up to the Haunted Deadwood in Yew. Kodi the Trader had an unusual request before he’d side with cityfolk – kill the cultists at the Deadwood.

As his hired mercenaries slaughtered the cultists, the strength of the Haunted Deadwoods grew. After days of pummeling the cultists, the menacing statue started to change and light up, eventually a Death Knight appeared in the deadwood.
As of chapter 3, the Death Knight is no longer a randomly recurring baddie. His status has been upgraded to Boss and he will spawn when enough cultists are sacrificed in the woods. Watch the Menacing statue as it progresses through a few stages (different artwork), until the boss is summoned.

Starting Chapter 4
Tipped off by the suspicious brew that Kodi shared with his hired mercenaries at the end of Chapter 3, Jarvis has set his eyes on Pirate’s Gate. Visit Jarvis at the Castle in Britain before heading to Pirate’s Gate. He will have advice (no quest… yet) for you.
Captain Lawrence, the Pirate Captain is expected to arrive in the port. Pay attention to the menacing statue on the docks. When the fire reaches the top, Captain Lawrence (a boss monster) will arrive at Pirate’s Gate.
Tip: Players with stealth, hiding skills, or a way to become invisible will have an advantage when investigating Pirate’s Gate.
There is more to Chapter 4, but we’ll give players 48 hours to explore the chapter before revealing more information.
