Jarvis has returned with news from the village council at Settler’s Cove.
The council has agreed to allow Britain’s team to occupy a small section of the village while they continue their search for the Idol of Courage. Their investigation has also uncovered a new lead. The smugglers were seen sailing south through Harbor Gate.
If they passed through Harbor Gate, they may have stopped somewhere along the way. Papua seems like a good place to start asking questions.
The bogtown has few residents these days, and those who remain tend to know one another which makes unfamiliar faces easier to remember.
Head to Papua and see what you can learn from locals. Look for [keywords] in their dialogue.
Check around Harbor Gate and the Papua Remains. Someone may have seen something that could point us in the right direction. The trail continues south…
Notes for Adventuring
- This chapter introduces a few chatting NPCs, who may share stores unrelated to this Chapter, but useful for your future exploration needs.
- The smugglers that Jarvis want you to hunt are all named “Smuggler” to make it easier to understand which NPCs are the smugglers (to avoid confusion around which orcs, lizardfolks, or pirates count for the quest).
- There is at least one side quest, which will remain after Chapter 12 ends.
