1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or playing UO Tides of Power, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use the game, launcher, or associated services.
2. Updates and Connectivity
If you decide to use the Tides of Power Launcher, the launcher may:
- Check for game updates
- Download official game files
- Connect to game servers for authentication and gameplay
No unrelated background network activity is performed.
3. User Accounts
Players are responsible for maintaining their account credentials. Accounts must comply with server rules and community guidelines.
4. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the game client or servers
- Use cheats, bots, or unauthorized automation
- Disrupt server operations or other players’ experience
5. External Download Options
We may provide alternative download methods (such as direct file hosting). These contain identical official game files and are maintained in sync with the primary launcher distribution.
6. Security & Antivirus False Positives
Because the launcher is independently developed and distributed, some antivirus software may incorrectly flag it as unknown or potentially unsafe. This is a common false positive for new or unsigned applications.
We actively work with security vendors to resolve incorrect detections.
7. Limitation of Liability
The game and launcher are provided “as is.” We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, or external software interfering with the client.
8. Contact
If you have any questions about using our website, launcher, or game server, you can contact us here or Discord server.
