Begging
Skill Title: Beggar
Skill Trainer: Gypsy, Iron Worker
How to Use Begging
Begging is a utility skill that allows players to ask NPCs for gold. The success rate and the amount of gold received depend on the player’s skill level in Begging.
While not as widely used as other skills, Begging can be entertaining and serve a roleplaying purpose, especially for players who enjoy playing as thieves or beggars. It doesn’t play a major role in combat or crafting but offers a niche role for players seeking gold without traditional means.
Perks from Begging
Patch 33 introduced new features to begging.
- When you reach at least 75 begging skill, you can sometimes convince an NPC to give you something extra. You have a 2% chance to get a special item.
- When you reach at least 90 begging skill, you are able to receive 25% of the NPC’s gold on hand, instead of being capped at 10%. This increases again when you become a Grandmaster Beggar.
| Skill | NPC Gold % | Special Items |
|---|---|---|

| 99 | 25% | Leftover Pie |
| 90 | 25% | Tides Bar |
