Doubloons
Doubloons are a special gemstone currency that can be earned through certain PVM activities. Collect, trade, and exchange them in for special items. These items were initially introduced in our Hunter’s Mark system.
Dungeon Doubloons
Monsters have a chance of dropping a doubloon currency, specific to the dungeon. A Covetous doubloon is not the same as a Deceit doubloon. These doubloons can be saved or traded among players and spent at the Doubloon Exchange. Doubloons only drop when the dungeon has been marked or when the monster slain is a paragon, in a dungeon (these have a chance of doubloon).
Ancient Doubloons
Ancient Doubloons drop on boss encounters, special holiday events, or on certain storyline content events.
Ocean Doubloons
Ocean doubloons can be found on merchant boats, NPC pirate ships, trash islands, and on monsters fished up with the deep sea fishing net.
Redeeming Doubloons
The Castle in Britain has a Doubloon Exchange (1354,1654) for exchanging your ancient or dungeon doubloons. Ocean doubloons can be exchanged at Customs Office (1480,1747) in West Britain. Click here for a large image of the dungeon doubloon prizes
