The deadly Leviathan is the most feared adversary at Sea.  You can find a Gargoyle Totem in the Southern Skull Sea. This is one of our Boss Encounter creatures.

Where is the Gargoyle Totem for the Leviathan boss?

You can find the Totem sitting on a dark ship located at about 2904,2458 (x,y). Killing monsters anywhere within the Southern Skull Sea (see the green box below) will advance the meter. When it reaches the maximum value, Leviathan spawns.

What are Leviathan’s special moves?

Summon Help – “The leviathan bellows, summoning aid from the deep”

Reveals all nearby hidden/invisible players within 10 tiles, breaking stealth and showing a water‑splash particle effect. Spawns up to 3 sea monsters.

Deep Dive

Leviathan dives under water, creating a large splash, summoning waves of water elementals, until it finally re-surfaces, revealing nearby players.

Water Thrash – “The leviathan thrashes, spewing whirlpools of poisoned water!”

Reveals nearby players and poisons them with regular poison.
