Mining
Skill Title: Miner
Skill Trainer: Miner, Miner Guildmaster
How to Use Mining
Mining allows players to extract ores and precious metals from veins scattered across the world.
Ore is essential for crafting professions like Blacksmithing and Tinkering. The higher the skill level, the more efficiently players can mine rare ores, such as valorite or verite, used to craft high-tier weapons and armor.

Smelting Magic Items: When you smelt a magic item as a Grandmaster blacksmith or miner, you have a chance of receiving extra ingots, including colored ingots.
Treasure Hunting
Mining provides a huge boost to treasure hunting, as it makes it easier to locate the chest without being on the exact tile.
Skill Guide for Mining
- 0-42: Train at an NPC.
- 42-100: Mine ore or smelt ore* on a forge.
*Smelting higher tier colored ore has an increased chance of skill gain over lower tier ores. Miners often train by smelting ore individually to maximize skill gain.
