Player Vendors
Players can place a vendor at a public home they own, co-own, or are friended to.You can purchase a contract for employment at an Innkeeper.
Placing Your Vendor
When you double click the player vendor deed, the vendor appears at your location. You cannot relocate a vendor, so be careful with your placement (if you need to move your vendor, contact a GM).
Managing Your Vendor
Double click your vendor to view how many days they are pre-paid for, how much gold they are holding for you (from sold items), and how much gold remains in their account for their daily salary. Click see goods to manage your inventory. Click customize to change your vendor’s outfit.
Inventory Management
When you click See goods, a backpack will open and you’ll see what is being sold on the vendor. Drag items from your backpack to the vendor. When you drop it in the vendor’s backpack, type a number and text, for example “50000 a rare bone chair” adds the item for sale at 50,000 gold with the description, a rare bone chair.
You can add an empty container to the vendor and write a phrase without any number, for example, “Magic Items” – this will make a container that is not for sale, called Magic Items. Now you can open that container and add magic items, one by one, for sale. This is a great way to keep a vendor organized.
Want to sell an entire container of items? Like a suit of armor? Prepare a bag of armor in your inventory. Drag and drop that bag of armor into your vendor’s backpack. Give it a price and name, for example, “15000 Valorite Dex Suit”. Now you have a bag of armor for sale, for 15,000 gold.
Customizing Your Vendor
When you customize your vendor, you can pick from a number of outfits, hair styles, and equippable items. You can even select hues.
Collecting Your Gold
You can say “(vendor name) collect” to take gold from the vendor.
Reviewing Sales History
A custom feature on Tides of Power for player vendors is the Sales History page. Double-click your vendor and select Sales History.
This new page shows your most recent sales items, price sold for, and the date.
Player Vendor Fees
Your vendor requires a daily payment to remain active. If you run out of gold, your vendor will quit and leave a backpack on the ground with all of the items they were holding.

Dismissing Your Vendor
You can dismiss your vendor by saying “(vendor name) dismiss”.

To sell items out of a “not for sale” bag, or multiple of these bags, place empty bag in vendors inventory and type the description of the bag. Should then show up as description and not for sale. Then place items in the bag and give prices and description for each item in the bag. This way you can stay organized and have multiple bags in the vendors inventory separating different types of items for sale. You can also sell a bag full of items where the buyer buys the entire bag full of items.
