About Shallow Graves
With the flood devastating vast regions, the survivors faced the somber reality of managing the overwhelming number of dead. Trinsic’s nearby swamps, already treacherous and waterlogged, became the default burial grounds.
Today, the Shallow Graves is a foreboding and treacherous place. Giant toads and serpents with venomous bites lurk beneath the murky waters, while lurking alligators strike at unwary travelers. Yet most feared are the Ophidians, snake-like creatures whose origins are tied to dark magic and ancient poisons. The ophidians guard the swamp jealously, viewing intruders as both threats and prey.
