The silverback gorilla is a special tamable on Tides of Power. This counts as “a big pet” meaning you cannot have it while you control another “big pet” (White Wyrm or Dragon).

This pet has a few unique abilities that only work in PvM situations, including:

• Immunity to lesser, regular, and greater poison when the poison attempt comes from an NPC.
• The gorilla takes half damage even before it’s armor or magic resist skill is taken into account, when the damage source is from an NPC.
• The ability to throw a banana, taunting the opponent, making them fight the gorilla. This taunt only works against NPCs.

The gorilla makes for a nice partner with a nightmare and your pick of a strongbat. We recommend the sandbat for it’s *pocket sand* effect which is similar to Discordance.
