Taxidermy Kit

A Taxidermy Kit costs 100,000 gold and can be purchased at the tanner. The taxidermy kit is not blessed or newbied, meaning it can be stolen, and will be on your corpse if you die while carrying it. It is a one-time use item.

How to do taxidermy in UO?

In order to use the taxidermy kit, you’ll need:

• to be a master carpenter (90 skill or greater)
• 10 boards
• access to a corpse (see below)

After targeting the corpse, you’ll receive a trophy deed in your backpack for the item. For example a troll trophy deed.

What corpses can be used with taxidermy?

• Brown Bear
• Great Hart
• Big Fish (fishing item)
• Gorilla
• Orc
• Polar Bear
• Troll
• Black Marlin
• Kingfish
• Firefish

How to use your taxidermy deed?

While in your home, stand adjacent to a south facing wall, or east facing wall. Double-click the deed, and it will appear on the wall. If you want to move your taxidermy head, you can double-click an axe, and target the mounted head. This will re-deed the trophy, just like a standard house add-on.
