Theft Protection Methods
There are a few known tricks to keep your items safe among thieves, but even if you follow this advice, it is still recommended to keep valuable items in the bank or in a secure container.
- Always reveal before taking a valuable item out of your bank.
- Always use detect hidden before opening your house door, and after You enter and close the door. Don’t forget the lock your door.
- Split stackable items, such as reagents and bandages into multiple piles, to limit how much a thief can steal in a single attempt.
- Keep valuable items in secured containers, lock down the item directly, or keep it behind a locked interior door, or a table wall. Read more about homeowner and boat security.
- Keep valuable items equipped, in your bank account, in a locked container, or even in a trapped pouch nested within another container.
- Paranoid? Put a container within a container within a container within a container within a container, containing your items. Stack items on top of other items within the same bag to make it a little more difficult for them to find your valuables.
