How to Use Veterinary

Veterinary is used to heal, cure, or and resurrect pets and tamed animals. 

Players who specialize in animal taming will often develop Veterinary to keep their pets in good health during combat. By using bandages, players can restore health to injured creatures or bring them back to life if they die in battle. The pet’s owner must be nearby and will receive a confirmation gump before the resurrection completes.  The pet suffers a 5% skill loss reduction upon resurrection.

Veterinary is a perfect companion skill for anyone who relies on tamed creatures. It can be more efficient than using Magery to heal your pets.

• A player with 60+ veterinary skill can cure poison on their pets.
• A player with 80+ veterinary skill can resurrect a dead (bonded) pet.

• 0-42: Train at an NPC.
• 42-100: Use bandages on wounded animals to heal or cure them.
