Wandcrafting
Wandcrafting
Wand Dust was introduced in Patch 34 and offers players a way to craft new wands using wand dust and a scribe’s pen.
Breaking Down Wands into Dust
Using an Arcane Reclaimer, you can store your wands and see exactly how many wands or charges of each you have. You can also see your dust pile quantities, and convert all identified wands into dust with the click of a button. Dust is stackable and can be stored in commodity deeds.
- Wand Dust There are 10 types of wands, each one produces its own wand dust. Player scribes with at least 105 skill can attempt to craft wands using dust. Magery skill is also required. Wands require both boards and dust to craft.
- The Arcane Reclaimer The arcane reclaimer, or “wand smelter” is a chest that you place identified wands into to transform into wand dust. The Arcane Welder NPC at the bank in Wind sells this device.

Crafting with Dust
You will need to use an ancient Scribe’s tool in order to craft with dust. These are acquired from inscription BODs.
