Guilds
Guilds
There are two types of guilds on Tides of Power. NPC guilds and player guilds.
NPC guilds, such as the mage guild or thieves guild permit special pricing, items, or abilities players who join these guilds. For example, in order to steal from other players, you must be in the thieves guild.
Player guilds can be established by purchasing a guildstone deed from the provisioner in town. Players can recruit others to their guild and the guild leader can approve candidates. The guild can declare war on other guilds. If both guilds are “at war” with each other, you’ll flag orange, allowing you to freely fight each other without criminal consequences.
Guilds may declare themselves to be an “Order Guild” or a “Chaos Guild” to extend guild war capabilities further.
Note: Guilds and guild wars are entirely different from Factions. Your guild can align with a specific Faction without forcing all members to partake in Faction activity.
